2012 Champions of the “Wayne Williams Memorial Day
The Ohio Force gained the #1 “seed” against the 25 team field from Ohio, Indiana,
Pennsylvania, and West Virginia by going 3-0 in pool
play. In the first of 3 games on
Memorial Day the Ohio Force beat the Columbus Cobras 2-1; next up was the
Gahanna Lions in the semifinals. The
Ohio Force was down by 4 runs in the 3rd inning but rallied for an
8-6 win. The Championship Game was up
next against the Cincinnati Flames with the Ohio Force winning 11-4. During the Tournament , the Ohio Force scored
a total of 46 runs while only giving up 16 to go undefeated.
